Micro Needling
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a medical-aesthetic treatment that involves pricking the skin with multiple sterile, very fine needle-pricks that vary in depth of penetration. The purpose is to improve the skin’s integrity and appearance. By intentionally injuring the skin in a controlled and precise manner, a wound-healing effect is triggered, which promotes cellular and vascular responses that eventually results in less fine lines and wrinkles, reduced appearance of scars (like those made by acne or even stretch marks), and general improvement of overall skin pigment and pore size reduction. This results in healthier and happier skin.
Reasons for Micro Needling

New skin cells

Improves Wrinkles
-
Firmer smoother skin
-
Produces more collagen
-
Produces more elastin
Stretch Marks
-
Heals tissue causing stretchmarks
-
Production of elastin and collagen

PepFactor Skin:
PepFactor Skin contains Hyaluronic Acid and starts the production of fibroblasts in cells. This results in the creation of collagen and elastin naturally. As a result, PepFactor can be used for skin tightening and brightening, stretch marks, reducing fine lines, sagging skin, neck wrinkles, under-eye circles, acne treatments, scarring, and full-face rejuvenation. PepFactor has also been shown to shrink enlarged pores and relieve oxidative stress or trauma associated with environmental pollutants and factors, amongst other things.
At Misra Wellness, PepFactor Skin can be combined with other things such as vitamins, peptides, or medications to optimize your skin rejuvenation results.
About Micro Needling
Depending on your skin needs, micro needling should be done as a series of treatments with intervals in between to allow for skin to heal, but skin improvement can be seen in as little as 1 treatment. With micro needling, we are breaking down skin and leaving it very vulnerable to external factors as new tissue growth is promoted, so as always, it is super important to protect skin with sun block.
Often micro needling is combined with different serums or medical treatments to help either target and area optimize your skin’s outcome. These can include vitamins, peptides, proteins, growth factors or even light or heat in the form of laser radio frequency.
